Overseas Study
UW–Madison students study abroad in record numbers, with more than 1,600 students participating in 125 programs offered around the world. In fact, Wisconsin ranks 17th among U.S. colleges in the number of students who study overseas. You can study abroad for a summer, a term, or the full academic year. Academic credits, scholarships, and financial aid are generally carried forward during overseas study.
