Study Abroad in Non UW–Madison Programs

Course Equivalency Service

This is an optional service for current UW–Madison students interested in studying abroad in a program that is not sponsored by UW–Madison.

Submission Deadlines

If you wish to request preliminary course equivalencies, complete the Course Equivalency Request Form (PDF, 62K) and submit it to the Office of Admissions (Red Gym, Third Floor). The submission deadline varies depending upon the term you intend to be abroad. For fall term overseas study, the deadline is August 1. For spring, the deadline is December 1. And for summer, the deadline is May 15.
