Whitney’s primary roles are to guide and motivate the committee’s 50 undergraduate members as they organize Homecoming events and serve as a liaison between the organization, campus, the community, and alumni. She says the work is always “different and exciting.”

In her freshman year, Whitney applied to join the committee and was invited to join. That year, she even created a brand-new event, the Air Band Competition.
