Connections Program - How to Participate

Connections students complete two years of coursework (or 54 credit hours) at one of 20 partner campuses before transitioning to UW–Madison as juniors completing their course work and earning their degree.

To be eligible for the UW–Madison Connections Program, students need to be residents in the State of Wisconsin, and also complete the recommended coursework for freshman admissions:

  • 4 years of English
  • 3 years of math, social studies, and science
  • 2 years of a single foreign language and additional fine art or academic coursework
  • Results from the SAT or ACT

If you have been invited to participate in the program for next fall, complete and return the Program Agreement by May 1.

By submitting the Connections Apply Direct application, you acknowledge that any application submitted for freshman admissions will be withdrawn.
